A church that loves God and loves people
River is a charismatic evangelical church in Warsaw. Our mission is to bring living faith into people’s lives, to fill them with hope and to help everyone who longs for it build a deep relationship with the Holy Spirit. As a center for teaching the Word of God, we lead believers to build their lives on a lasting foundation and equip them to fulfill the perfect assignment God has prepared for each person. We boldly yield to the leading of the Holy Spirit and are open to His work.
Mission
We believe Poland needs revival: real change you can see in real people in a real city. We are building a community where people encounter God for real: they hear from Him, experience healing, discover their calling and learn to live by faith on Monday just as they do on Sunday.
We stand on two pillars: one hundred percent the Word of God and one hundred percent the Holy Spirit. We believe one without the other is incomplete, so here you will find both solid teaching and room for the Holy Spirit to move as He wills.
What drives us
The Book of Acts
A Book of Acts church
To us, the Book of Acts describes what the church looks like when the Holy Spirit has a free hand: people are saved, the sick are healed, believers are sent out. That is what we want in Warsaw. We come to every meeting expecting God to move, we pray for healing and for guidance, and we see God answer. Signs of God’s power and miracles are part of everyday life for us, because we ask for them and wait for them.
Our story
River Church in Warsaw was founded by pastors Jerzy and Bożena Piotrowscy. Their ministry showed that God moves here and now, in the real lives of ordinary people. In 2025 the leadership of the church passed to Michał and Ewelina Glonek, who had served here since 2017 as evangelists and teachers. They grew up in this community.
We are a young and close-knit church, and that is our strength. Everyone is seen here, the pastor knows your name, and relationships are real.

What we believe
We believe in one God in three Persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. To us the Bible is the inspired Word of God, a living document that speaks to a specific person in a specific situation.

He died for our sins, rose again and will return.
The gifts of the Holy Spirit work today
Healing, prophecy, speaking in tongues, just as in the Book of Acts. We pray for healing. We see it happen.

Meet our Pastors
Michał and Ewelina Glonek have led River Church since 2025. Before that, from 2017, they served in the church as leaders, supporting the work of its founders, pastors Jerzy and Bożena Piotrowscy. Over the years they preached, taught, organized evangelistic events and lectured at the Bible school (now River School of Ministry).
Two radically different beginnings
Their shared journey of faith began in 2010, shortly after a conference with Dr. Rodney Howard-Browne, where prophetic words were spoken about a mighty calling for young people in Poland. When Kościół Uliczny (“Street Church”) invited them to their first service, they reacted in dramatically different ways. Ewelina was thrilled. She felt she had found “real Bible-believing Christians”, a species she thought had gone extinct along with the dinosaurs. Michał, on the other hand, was at first completely overwhelmed by the freedom and joy of the believers. It took many months before he laid down his weapons and let God take full control of his life.
A Canadian “school of life”
A divine “coincidence” meant that soon afterwards they were sent on their first mission together, to Street Church in Calgary (Canada). There, under the watchful eye of pastor Artur Pawłowski, they went through a true “school of life” and lived an unforgettable adventure of faith that laid a solid foundation for all their future ministry.
Trial by fire in the Middle East
In 2016, with a daughter just two years old, they heard a clear call from God to go to the River Bible school in Istanbul. Their time in Turkey was intense in every way. They completed the 3-year program in just 14 months, all in the shadow of extreme “attractions”: a military coup and several Islamic terrorist attacks. These experiences became living proof of God’s protection for them, but above all they shaped their character, toughening them to break through religious patterns and to bring the fire of revival into Poland’s spiritual reality.
Ministry today
Today the ministry of Michał and Ewelina is marked by anointed preaching of the Word, a vibrant partnership with the Holy Spirit and an abundance of testimonies of God’s faithfulness and the great power of faith. Their hearts burn with the dream of raising up in Poland a whole army of people deeply rooted in sound doctrine, aware of the weight of God’s calling, full of the Holy Spirit and sharing the same passion to save the lost. In 2026 they received an official ministry license from Revival Ministries International.

The River network
We are an international church and part of the global River network. The same movement is alive in West Palm Beach in Florida, in Istanbul, Frankfurt, the Netherlands and Helsinki. The pastors know each other personally, the conferences overlap. One DNA, one source, different cities.
That is why at River everyone is at home. Whatever your social status or background, you are accepted and welcome here.

Bible school
RSM Poland, our Bible school
Michał and Ewelina also lead RSM Poland, an accredited Bible school for all of Poland. The program lasts three years and includes more than forty courses, with lectures held online on Mondays. RSM Poland is affiliated with River School of Ministry in West Palm Beach, under the apostolic oversight of Dr. Corey and Rose Erman, and accredited by Transworld Accrediting Commission International. Ministry
Here faith goes beyond the meeting room. We take the Gospel to the streets of Warsaw, pray for people where they are and help practically through Fundacja Czynów Niezwykłych „Rzeka Życia” (the “River of Life” Foundation of Extraordinary Deeds). We also meet outside our weekly rhythm: at outdoor events, baptisms and shared meals after the service.
